NEW YORK & LONDON, September 20, 2010 – TransPerfect Legal Solutions (TLS), the world’s leading provider of global legal support services, today announced that Simmons & Simmons, an international law firm, has enrolled in the TLS Pro Bono Program.
Launched in 2003, the TLS Pro Bono Program is the first of its kind. When enrolled in the program, firms who use TLS for their regular paid cases will accrue credits towards free services for pro bono matters. These credits can be redeemed by anyone in the firm regardless of location, and applied to pro bono work. To date, more than 50 firms have joined the program.
With an extensive international pro bono network, all of Simmons & Simmons 18 offices throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East have participated in the firm’s corporate responsibility program, recording over 7,100 pro bono and community engagement hours in 2009/2010.
