Manhattan Chamber of Commerce Recognizes Ongoing Success, Innovation of TransPerfect
NEW YORK, January 13, 2014 – TransPerfect, the world’s largest privately held provider of language services and technology solutions, today announced that The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce (MCC) recognized the company at the Global Business of the Year award ceremony at the end of 2013. This award directly follows TransPerfect’s Hire Power award, which Inc. presents to the country’s top 100 job creators that are helping to drive the U.S. economy. Additionally, TransPerfect recently earned recognition as the Best Translation and Language Service in the Best of ELearning! 2013 awards. The MCC Annual Awards highlight the business leaders throughout New York City who have contributed to both the economy and community with their companies and cultures. Other recipients of the 2013 awards include Dave Gilboa and Neil Blumenthal of Warby Parker for Mid-Sized Business of the Year, Jon Kaplan at Google Inc. for Large Business of the Year, and Jennifer Fleiss and Jennifer Hyman of Rent the Runway for the Young Professionals award.
