Delta Air Lines Recognizes Diverse Suppliers, Names TransPerfect Women-Owned Business of the Year
ATLANTA, April 23, 2014 - TransPerfect, the world’s largest privately held provider of language services and technology solutions, today announced that they have been selected by Delta Air Lines as the recipient of the Women-Owned Business Delta Star Award.
Each year, Delta acknowledges the significant role of small, minority, and women-owned businesses that have set themselves apart through superior service. Recipients are selected based on several criteria, including performance, innovation, cost savings, and community outreach, and each company must be recognized by a valid council or government agency.
TransPerfect has been WBENC certified since 2004, and has been supporting Delta’s business service needs as a qualified diverse supplier for the past five years. Collaborating with over fifteen different departments within Delta, TransPerfect provides omnichannel solutions to support Delta’s global brand presence. These solutions, including translation of web and offline content, multilingual call center support, content management solutions, cultural consulting services, desktop publishing, multicultural marketing, and voice over/script translations, ensure that Delta’s brand is conveyed consistently across all markets, channels, languages, and countries.
“It’s admirable that Delta recognizes the work of women-owned, minority-owned, and small businesses through the Delta Star Awards,” said Liz Elting, Co-CEO of TransPerfect. “We’re proud of the opportunity to partner with Delta and help serve their non-English speaking passengers and customers. It’s a great honor to be named their Women-Owned Business of the Year.”
Recipients of this year’s Star Awards were honored at a ceremony in Atlanta on March 25th.
